This page provides a guide on the different configurations of modular terrain available. All pieces are mounted on a base of 1/8″ tempered hardboard for stability. The floor tiles are 1″ square, with the blocks being 1/2″ tall. The basic walls are 1.25″ above the level of the floors, which allow most miniatures (D&D, Pathfinder, WizKids, Reaper Bones, etc) to be seen from anywhere on the table. Of course, a sneaky DM might find ways around this! The doors and some walls are taller to provide extra detail, and space for the door pieces.
The blocks and tiles are cast hydrostone, which is significantly harder than normal plaster of paris. The hydrostone is tinted gray, and is shipped unpainted, and unsealed.
Note that all of these modular pieces are cast and assembled by hand, so minor imperfections may be present. If you are unsatisfied with any piece, please let me know and I’ll be happy to replace the item.
Two styles of stone texture are available for the walls, and two styles for the flooring. See the Texture Options page for photos of the actual textures.
To battle and glory!
